Blender shortcuts4/9/2023 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() So let's see how to move currently in Blender 2.8, examining the main keys renewed: The function keys:į1: Context sensitive help, currently not very activeį2: Shows a small menu that corresponds to a reduced version of the File menu, to create, open, import and export filesį3: (Cmd + F on MacOs) The lifeline button! Opens a search window similar to the one that started with the spacebar key, to search for any functions and corresponding corresponding shortcutsį4: Opens the Window Context Menu which helps you create and organize Blender's internal windowsį12 remains the key of single image rendering, which can then be recalled using the F11 key, while with Ctrl+F12 the animation can be rendered, which can then be recalled with Ctrl+F11. To select or define your favorite keymap you can use Edit > Preferences > Keymap > pull-down menu at the top, where you can also set the preference that allows you to select vertices with the left mouse button, instead of the traditional right, adding the ability to open a context menu with the right mouse button, instead of using the W button. As a result, the shortcuts were also reorganized (the famous keyboard shortcuts in Blender) with a new mapping, but offering both the ability to keep one still compatible with Blender 2.7x and to choose a keymap similar to other competing applications that are now the industry standard. One of the novelties in Blender 2.8 was certainly the user interface, where attempts were made to sort and rationalize all the features that were added in previous versions. ![]()
